Beach Party

How about throwing a beach party this summer? Just invite all of your friends to gather at the public beach. If you arrive early enough, you can use blankets to stake out a large corner of the beach. Then pop up a portable beach umbrella so your friends can easily find you on the crowded beach. Pack plenty of snacks, ask everybody to bring their favorite beverage and a dish to pass. Everybody should also bring beach chairs, beach towels, lots of fun beach toys like frisbies, footballs, and kites. If you have a portable CD player, bring a mix of upbeat music to get the party started and keep it flowing. You and your friends will enjoy a casual summer get together and nobody has to do much work to get it ready or clean it up.
