Some people think my profession is a strange one but I very much enjoy my job of being a dog groomer. Yes, sometimes it can be tough, especially if a dog tries to get its muzzle off or if it constantly barks and drives me crazy in the process, but in the end, the dogs end up smelling like fresh flowers and they look great which makes me happy. I have recently received a really fun request to take a trip up to the great lake and stay in a turangi motel for a night, to groom three dogs that are required to be part of a wedding ceremony the following day so I’m having to fluff up their long coats after a good shampooing and put bow ties on them the next day. I love it when people value their pets as family.
