Spira running shoes is a controversial running shoe for the reason that they have a sporing mechanism in the heel which is supposed to help the runner run faster which then leads for the running shoe to be banned by the international athletics Association but this reason has not stopped runners from using them. Furthermore, the company has even offered a substantial amount of money to any runner who can win a race using their shoes and because of that buzz, this has generated enough amount of publicity. As for now, there has been an ongoing litigation between the Spira company and the International Athletics Association for the resolution of the banning of the shoe.
