Outdoor Courts- A Community Service

If you were to ask any athlete where they got their start, I think we would all be surprised to hear how many began to play their sport of course on the outdoor courts in their neighborhood. Many kids learn the rules of basketball, tennis, volleyball, and others while playing in their backyard, their neighbor’s backyard, or in the local park. Having these outdoor opportunities is a great way to channel the energy of the kids in the neighborhood into something productive, fun, and that promotes healthy activity. Some of these kids will even go on to play on competitive sports teams and a select few will end up playing for their colleges and even professionally. These outdoor courts are a great gift to the community.
