Why do you need to know this information about fish?

If you do not mind the children getting upset when the fish goes belly up, or feel guilty about it, then you need not worry. But others like me hate to see that happen and like the kids to stay happy if we can help it, so we read stuff like goldfish care and how to take care of them so this does not happen often. Sometimes they are already sick and you cannot do much, but you can do everything necessary to keep them healthy so everyone feels they did their best by them. They are pets after all so treat them well.
