We Chose Pigs as Pets

During the years I was growing up my parents made sure we always had pets. My brother and I enjoyed a series of dogs, cats, rabbits, and a few hamsters. I loved my animals but always wanted something a little different, I just did not know what. When I met my husband and he said he would love to have a pig as a pet, I was delighted. We went out and bought a book about how to raise and feed pigs, then bought a piglet. We named him Toby and he has been the most delightful animal we over owned.
