Visiting a Lutheran Church

I got to visit my friend at her Lutheran church and see how she worships jesus christ. It was funny because I didn’t know what “the offering” was and I figured it out pretty quick when a collection plate started going around. My friend was cracking up because I had no money and the lady kept shoving the plate towards me. I hope she didn’t think I was totally rude, but in our church, we don’t have a collection plate. I also got to go to their Good Friday service where the death of Jesus Christ is remembered. It was a very somber service as you would expect.
