What Should I Look for in a Smoothie Maker?

My daughter would really like for us to get a smoothie maker, so I am trying to figure out what I should look for in one of these. I want to get the best possible one that is within our budget. I am going to see if I can find a smoothie maker buying guide or a website with a lot of reviews for the different options that we are considering. Hopefully that will help me to narrow down the options a bit and avoid any products that aren’t all that great. I also need to make sure it is easy to use so my daughter can make her own smoothies.
