Patients with these illnesses share disturbances or mood changes, generally involving either mania or depression. Mood disorders - these are also known as affective disorders or depressive disorders. The sufferer may feel afraid or feel that he/she has no control over what is happening. During this type of event the person thinks that his/her life or other people’s lives are in danger. PSTD - this can occur after somebody has been through a traumatic self help anger management event - something horrible and scary that the person sees or that happens to them. In other words, constant stressful thoughts, and a powerful urge to perform repetitive acts, such as hand washing. Panic disorder - the person has obsessions and compulsions.
