How to cook long grain rice without making it sticky?

If you find that your rice always turns sticky then get yourself some long grain rice varieties. These have less gluten content in them making them fluffy. You can also remove excess starch content in rice by following these below steps.•    Rinse the rice in cold water thoroughly.•    Then add two cups of water to a cup of rice and bring it to boil.•    Once the mixture boils cover the lid partially and lower the flame. •    After some time you will see steam escaping out of the lid and holes in the rice.•    Now cover the lid completely and lower the flame further. Cook for another 15 minutes.•    Allow the rice to cool down before serving.
